Stephen Galloza, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, CCTP-II
I’m Stephen Galloza, a trauma therapist in Lake Mary dedicated to helping adults heal from the lasting impact of trauma, grief, and stress. My mission is to create a space where safety, trust, and transformation can flourish.
How I Help
I specialize in complex trauma recovery, post-traumatic growth, and nervous system regulation. As an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Therapist, I integrate EMDR, IFS-informed parts work, and somatic approaches to support both emotional and physiological healing.
Many clients seek therapy after feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. Together, we build safety and clarity—helping you reconnect with your authentic self and move toward lasting balance and peace.

Why I Do This Work
My journey toward becoming a trauma therapist in Lake Mary was deeply personal. As a retired police officer and Coast Guard veteran, I understand the hidden struggles that come from carrying emotional wounds alone—and how powerful it can be to finally find healing.
My Christian faith also informs my approach. I believe every person has inherent worth and purpose, and therapy can be a sacred space for restoration. For those who wish, faith can naturally become part of your healing process.
Beyond the Therapy Room
When I’m not meeting with clients, I find peace in nature, mindfulness, and spiritual reflection. These practices keep me grounded and aligned with the same principles I encourage in therapy—presence, resilience, and hope.
My experience through the Coast Guard, law enforcement, and faith leadership showed me how deeply people long for safety, connection, and healing. This calling continues to guide everything I do as a therapist and human being.
An Invitation to Begin
Healing starts with one simple step. If you’re ready to begin or want to explore what therapy might look like for you, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can move toward peace, resilience, and renewal.
